Harry S. Hall was a staff artist for the Toronto Evening Telegram and the illustrator of 'Men of the Mounted', the first Canadian adventure strip that was written by Ted McCall and published in that newspaper from February 1933 to February 1935. Written by Ted McCall, the strip was also featured in Big Little Books and in a set of trading cards by Willard's Chocolate. The strip was cancelled in 1935. Hall then started his long running series ‘News 'N Nonsense’ in the Toronto Telegram.
