Bandeira recently left the Yorkshire Post after 23 years where he was the only provincial political cartoonist left in the country. Bandeira was the winner of Britain's Best Political Cartoon in 2020 and 2025. He was runner-up in 2021. He now produces political cartoons for the Northern Agenda.
