Brian Adcock has been a professional illustrator/political cartoonist since 2000. He currently works regularly for the Independent and has worked for The Guardian, The Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday, The Prague Post, Teaching Scotland and various other publications. He has also illustrated the children's book "Cinnamon and the Bat People". In 2014 he won "cartoonist of the year" at the Scottish press awards for the third time and "Political Cartoon of the year" at the Political Cartoon Society Awards.
