Johnson, Vic

Vic Johnson was the political and sports cartoonist for the Boston Herald.

He gave the Boston Red Sox - in the long interval between their pennants of 1946 and 1967 - the nickname, "The Little Rich Kids." Naturally his work addressed a variety of slants on the full scope of sports in Boston, but his greatest emphasis was reserved for the beloved Red Sox.
