20 years after Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered, Jesse Jackson paused in the middle of the most heated presidential primary of 1988 to deliver a heavenly report card. Addressing himself to King from the pulpit of a historic Harlem church, Jackson said "20 years ago you were taken from us and the street was on fire. Twenty years later our souls are on fire. Hope is reborn."
