A former Norwegian seaman, Morten Morland has been a political cartoonist for The Times since 2002. In 2017, Morland replaced Gerald Scarfe on the Sunday Times. In 2013 and 2016 he was voted the Political Cartoonist of the year by the Political Cartoon Society. He also regularly draws front covers for The Spectator.
